Raj Kumar Tanti is my name and you can find me over at Tis Hazari 66. If you know this area, you know it’s always crowded with people heading to the courts or legal offices. My little space is right in the middle of all that chaos. It’s number 66, a small spot that I’ve managed to squeeze into over the years. I don’t have a big sign or anything flashy. Most people find me because someone told them where I was. The room is quite small, so I have to be careful about where I put things. I have a wooden desk that’s been with me since I started, and it’s covered in scratches and ink stains. There are always people walking past the door, and the sound of typing and talking is constant. I try to keep things orderly, but with so much going on, it’s hard. I spend my mornings going through whatever came in the day before. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, so I keep a few candles and a torch handy just in case. It isn’t a glamorous job or a fancy location, but it’s steady. I like being near the center of things where you can see all kinds of people every day. I usually have my lunch at my desk because there’s always something that needs to be looked at. It’s just me and my work here.
