We are located at C-6 in the DSIIDC Industrial Complex. It’s right by the Udyog Nagar Metro Station on Rohtak Road. Having the metro so close is a big help for the workers and anyone visiting. This is an industrial area, so it’s always loud with machines and trucks. We do dyeing here. It’s messy work sometimes, and there is always the smell of steam and dyes in the air. That’s just part of the job. We’ve been in this unit for quite a while. The floors are concrete and the walls have seen better days, but the machines work well. Flora Dyeing House is a place where we get our hands dirty. We aren't sitting in a quiet office all day. We are out on the floor making sure the colors come out right. It takes a lot of water and heat to get the results we need. Sometimes things go wrong and we have to re-do a batch, but we just get on with it. It’s a private limited company on paper, but it feels more like a workshop. We have a core group of guys who have been here since the start. We know our way around the vats and the drying racks. It's not a glamorous business, but people always need their fabrics dyed, so we stay busy. Rohtak Road is always jammed with traffic, but once you’re inside the gates, we just focus on the task.
