Our place is at 280 Khureji Khas. It’s right opposite the Badi Masjid Road, Street No. 7. If you are looking for us, we are near the petrol pump. That’s usually how we tell people to find Gs Textiles. It’s a very crowded area. There are always people walking by and scooters darting in and out. The noise from the street never really stops. Being opposite the Masjid means we hear the calls all through the day. It’s a familiar sound that marks the time for us. The shop is a bit small and we have fabric stacked up all the way to the ceiling. You have to be careful when you walk around so you don't knock anything over. It’s a bit dark inside because the street is so narrow, but we have some bright lights to help us see. The petrol pump nearby is a busy spot, so there is always the smell of fuel in the air. We sit on small stools and talk to the people who come in. It’s not a fancy showroom. It’s just a place where we do our business. Street No. 7 is a tight fit for any kind of car, so most people just walk. We’ve been at 280 Khureji Khas for a long time. It’s a lively neighborhood. There is always someone to talk to or something happening outside. We just keep doing our textiles and being part of the street.
