Zyka Multicuisine Restaurant

Our restaurant, Zyka Multicuisine, is in a very busy part of Amritsar, right by the Golden Temple. We are located directly opposite Jallianwala Bagh and just above the Subway. Because of where we are, there’s never a quiet moment. You can hear the sounds of the crowds and the traffic from the street below all day long. We decided to offer a bit of everything on the menu since we get tourists from all over the country and even the world. It’s a big job trying to keep up with so many different types of dishes, but our kitchen team works hard at it. The stairs up to our place see a lot of foot traffic every hour. It’s not a fancy or quiet dining room; it’s usually full of families and groups of friends talking over their meals. We don’t have a team of fancy chefs in tall hats, just people who know how to cook a lot of food quickly. Sometimes the wait for a table can be a bit long during the peak pilgrimage times, but we try to move as fast as we can. The view of the street from our windows is always interesting, with so much history just across the road. We are just a local business trying to feed the many people who come to visit this special part of the city. We keep it simple and just focus on the daily grind of running a busy kitchen right in the heart of the action.
