Balle Balle Dhaba

If you are driving down the Atari Border Road, you will find us right near the toll plaza in Chiddan. We are Balle Balle Dhaba and we are pretty close to the Rainbow Resort if you need a landmark. This part of Amritsar is 143107. Being so close to the border, we see a lot of travelers and people going to see the ceremony. It is a dhaba, so it is exactly what you would expect. We have benches and tables and a kitchen that is almost always going. The road can be dusty and the sun gets hot out here, but we have some shade. We serve local food that fills you up. We do not have a fancy menu with descriptions. People just come in and ask what is ready. It gets very busy on certain days when everyone is heading to the border at the same time. The trucks pull in and out all day long. We have been sitting on this road for a long time now. It is a family thing for us. We do not use any fancy machines or have corporate rules. We just cook the food the way we have always done it. If you are hungry and driving through, you can stop by and grab a plate. We just keep serving until the food is gone or the day ends. That is the way we have always run things out here near the toll plaza.
