Aurah Restaurant & Lounge

You can find us at Hotel Blue Moon right on The Mall in Amritsar. Being on The Mall means there is always traffic and people walking by. We’ve been operating out of this hotel for a bit now. It’s a mix of a restaurant and a lounge area, so the vibe changes depending on the time of day. In the mornings, it’s mostly about breakfast for the guests staying upstairs. By the time evening rolls around, it gets a bit louder and more energetic. We have to keep up with the fast pace of Amritsar’s city life. The kitchen stays busy because people are always coming in for a bite after shopping or working nearby. It’s a practical setup. We don't spend much time on fancy talk; we just focus on the cooking. Sometimes the lobby gets crowded, but we just stick to our section. The staff here has been together for a while, so we know how to work around each other in the small kitchen space. We see tourists from all over, plus local people who just want a place to sit for an hour. It’s not the quietest place, but it has a lot of life. We keep our supplies fresh and our tables wiped down. We don't have a big marketing team, so we just rely on being right there on the main road where everyone passes by. It is just a straightforward business where we try to get things right.
