Bawa Dhaba

Bawa Dhaba is a simple place located on Circular Road in Amritsar. We are right across the street from the Trillium Mall, which is a big place that everyone uses to find where we are. Amritsar is famous for its food and we are just one of the many spots where people come to get a meal. Our dhaba does not have any of that modern polish you see in the big mall across the road. We keep things basic with simple seating and a focus on what is cooking on the stove. The noise from the traffic on Circular Road is something we have just gotten used to over the years. You see all sorts of people passing by, from tourists to locals living in the nearby neighborhoods. We start our work early in the morning to get the fires going and the ingredients chopped up. It gets a bit crowded in the evenings when people are out for a walk or finished with their shopping at Trillium. We don't have a mission statement or a fancy board of directors. It is just a local business run by people who live in Amritsar and know what the local crowd likes to eat. Sometimes the service is a bit slow when the place is packed, but we do our best to keep up. It is an honest living and we are happy to be part of the food scene here on this busy road.
