Amritsari L.S Lovely Dhabha

We've been here in Sultanwind for a while now. Running Amritsari L.S Lovely Dhabha is just what we do every day. People around here know the spot. It’s not a fancy place with velvet chairs or anything like that. We mostly just focus on getting the food out hot. It gets pretty busy around lunch, especially with folks coming through Amritsar. The kitchen stays loud and we try to keep things moving. Sometimes the floor gets a bit messy when it rains outside, but we clean it up when there's a breather. We use the same spice mixes we've always used. Nothing special, just what works. You’ll find us right on the main road. If you’re looking for a place to sit down and eat without a lot of fuss, that’s us. We don't really have a big staff, just a few of us making sure the dal is ready and the rotis are fresh. It's hard work, standing by the tandoor all day, but it’s okay. We like seeing the regular faces from the neighborhood. Sultanwind is a busy area, and we just try to fit in and do our part. We don't do fancy advertising. Most people just walk in because they smell the food or they've been coming here since they were kids. That’s how it goes at a local dhaba. We just keep the stove going and wait for the next person to walk through the door.
