VIRK EATING JOINT

VIRK EATING JOINT is a small shop located at Shop No 5 on Albert Road in Amritsar. We are right across the road from the Gopal International hotel. Amritsar is a place where people really love their food, so there are many eating spots, but we just focus on what we do in our little corner. Albert Road is always busy with tourists and locals moving toward the station or the market. We open up the shop early to start the prep work for the day. It’s a small space, so it can get a bit tight when the lunch crowd arrives. We don't have any expensive furniture or fancy lighting. It is just a simple place with tables and chairs where people can sit and eat. We have been on this road for a long time and we know most of the other shopkeepers around here. It feels like a small community. Sometimes the heat is tough or the rain keeps people away, but we stay open regardless. We don't do any big advertising. Most of our customers just see our sign while they are walking past. It is a lot of hours on our feet every day, but that is how it is. We just want to serve the food and keep the place tidy for the next person who walks in. It is just us working in the shop, trying to get through the day.
