Turkish Kabal

Turkish Kabal is right there in Ranjit Avenue, specifically at Shop Number-107 in C Block. It’s quite easy to find us because we are directly opposite Mc Grill, which is a big landmark for people here in Amritsar. We spend most of our time dealing with the grills. Amritsar is a city that loves its food, so there is a lot of pressure to get the meat right every single day. The coal we use has to be just the right temperature or the whole batch is ruined. We aren't trying to be the fanciest place on the block. The furniture is basic and the walls are just walls. We have a few guys working the front and a couple of us in the back. During the winter, the heat from the kitchen feels good, but in the summer, it's a bit of a struggle to stay cool. We see a lot of young people from the nearby offices and shops who just want a quick bite before heading home. The street outside is always full of cars and people walking, so it’s never quiet. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just open the shutters in the morning, prep the onions and the sauces, and start cooking when the first customer walks in. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until late at night when we finally close.
