Thaichi Restaurant (Hyatt Hotel)

Thaichi Restaurant is situated inside the Hyatt Hotel on the main GT Road in Amritsar. We are right next to the Alpha One City Centre, so there’s always a lot of people moving around in this area. We’ve been operating here as part of the hotel for a while now, near Mbm Farms. We focus on Asian food, mainly Chinese and Thai styles, and the kitchen is a busy place with woks going all the time. It’s a large space, but we try to keep it feeling comfortable for everyone who walks in. We don't have any big corporate slogans or fancy mission statements. We just come in, check our daily supplies, and get ready for the day's guests. The location on GT Road is very convenient for travelers passing through Amritsar on their way somewhere else. We see a lot of different people, from tourists visiting the Golden Temple to locals who are out at the mall next door. The staff has a good routine down after working together for so long. We aren't trying to do anything groundbreaking; we’re just serving food in a hotel setting. Sometimes the mall traffic makes it a bit hard to turn into the hotel driveway, but it's okay once you're inside. We focus on making sure the food is hot and the service is decent enough. It’s just a regular part of the hotel’s daily life.
