Sukh Eating Point

Sukh Eating Point is on Batala Road in Amritsar, right near the C-Mall. It is a busy stretch of road and there is always some kind of noise from the traffic or the people going to the mall. We aren't a big fancy restaurant, just a spot where people stop for a quick meal when they are on their way somewhere. The shop isn't very large, but we have some tables set up so you can sit down for a bit. Amritsar is a place where people really care about their food, so we just try to keep things the way they are. We have been here for a while and we see the same faces every morning. Some are truck drivers passing through and others are just locals who don't want to cook. It gets pretty crowded in the evenings when the mall shoppers start coming out. We don't have a big team, just a few guys in the kitchen and one person taking the money. It can get a bit chaotic when three orders come in at once, but we manage to get it done. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we're usually too busy to get around to it. We just keep the stove hot and the chairs ready for whoever walks in next. It’s nothing special to look at from the outside, but it works for us and the people who eat here.
