Station 69

We've been here at Lawrence Road for a while now. Most people know the spot near Ganpati Tower or opposite Revenue Colony. It's a busy part of Amritsar. We just keep things running every day. Sometimes it gets loud outside with the traffic, but inside it's just us doing our thing. It isn't a fancy place with lots of gold on the walls. We just have tables and chairs and we serve what people ask for. The extension area of Lawrence Road has changed a bit over the years, more buildings popped up, but we stayed right here. If you are walking past the tower, you'll see us. It’s a simple setup. We don't try to be something we aren't. Some days the weather is too hot and we just try to keep the fans going. It's mostly locals coming in. People usually stop by after finishing their work nearby or when they are just passing through the colony. We know most of the regulars by name now. It’s just how it is in this neighborhood. Nothing too complicated about it. We open up in the morning, clean the floors, and wait for the first person to walk in. It's a job like any other and we like being part of this street. The address can be a bit confusing with all the Lawrence Road mentions, but we are easy to find.
