Sarhad Food & Culture Park is located right on the National Highway as you head toward the Attari Wagah Border in Amritsar. Our pin code is 143002. It’s a unique spot because of where we are situated, so close to the border. We’ve been here for a while, running this place for anyone who is traveling out this way. It’s more than just a quick stop. We have some culture and food mixed together here. We don't have any polished scripts for how we talk about ourselves. We just work the land and the kitchen. The highway is always busy with people going to see the ceremony at the border. We see a lot of tourists, but we are just a local team doing the work. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city of Amritsar, but we like it out here. We don't use any fancy marketing. We just keep the place open and make sure there’s enough for everyone. The atmosphere is just what we’ve built over the years. It’s practical and honest. We don’t try to be something we’re not. If you are on the National Highway heading to Wagah, you’ll find us. We’ve been part of this landscape for a good bit now. It’s just us, out here near the border, keeping things going every day. It’s a long road but we are glad to be here. We just stay in our corner and get the work done as we can.
