Pindi Soya Wah Bhai WAH

This shop is in the New Amritsar Market, right along the GT Road. Being on the GT Road means there is never a quiet moment. There is always someone traveling between cities or locals heading into the main part of Amritsar. We went with the name Pindi Soya Wah Bhai WAH because it’s catchy and people know what to expect. Soya is what we do mostly. The market here is quite new compared to the old city, so it’s a bit more open, but it still gets very busy. We have a small space at SCO-14. It’s the kind of place where you can just grab a snack or a heavy plate of soya malai chaap and be on your way. We see a lot of young people hanging out here in the evenings. It’s not a fancy sit-down dinner place; it’s more about the street food vibe but with a proper roof. We use a lot of spices because that’s how people like it in Amritsar. The kitchen stays hot and we are always prepping something. Sometimes we run out of certain items by late night because the crowd is unpredictable. We just try to keep up with the orders. It’s a busy little spot and we like the energy of the market. People stop by while they are doing their shopping or just passing through. It’s a loud, happy place to get some food.
