Three Brothers Restaurant

Three Brothers Restaurant is a place we run together in Aizawl. We are located in the Lalremsangi Building in Zemabawk Kawn Veng. It is on the main street, which makes it easy for people to find us, especially since we are so close to the Zemabawk city bus stand. Being near the bus stand means we get a lot of people who are traveling or just waiting for their ride. Aizawl is a beautiful place, but the weather can be a bit unpredictable with the mist and rain. We open up the shutters early and get the tea going first thing. The kitchen is not very big, but the three of us have a system for how we work together. One person handles the cooking while the others take orders and clean the tables. We serve the kind of food we grew up with, nothing too complicated or fancy. The chairs and tables are simple wooden ones that have seen better days. We don't have a big menu with lots of options, just the things we know how to make well. From our front window, you can see the buses coming and going all day. It is a busy spot but we like the energy of it. We have been in Bawngkawn for a while and have become a regular stop for many people in the neighborhood. It is just us doing our daily work.
