L D Restaurant

We are located on Civil Hospital Road in Aizawl, just a short walk from the Aizawl Civil Hospital itself. It’s a busy area with a lot of people coming and going because of the hospital. Our restaurant has been here for some time, and we mostly see locals and people visiting their families. It’s a plain place with simple wooden tables. We do all the cooking in the back and the family helps out with serving. We don’t have any big slogans or anything like that. We just wake up early to get the pots going. The road outside can get quite loud with the traffic and the sirens. We just keep the doors open and let the air in. Sometimes it gets a bit chilly in the evenings here. We keep the menu small so we don't waste food. It’s a lot of work keeping things tidy when it’s raining outside, which happens a lot here. We aren't trying to be a fancy destination. Most people just stop by because they are hungry and we are right there. We try to be honest about what we have available each day. It’s a basic life running a shop on this road, but it’s ours. We just keep doing the same thing every day, hoping the food is good enough for people.
