Dig Jam

If you find yourself in Khatla Kawn in Aizawl, you’ll probably walk right past us near the Rural Bank. Dig Jam has been a name people trust for fabrics and clothes for a long time. We aren't a big modern mall store with bright flashing lights. Our shop is more traditional and we like it that way. We carry a lot of different suit pieces and materials that people buy for weddings or special occasions. Aizawl is a hilly place and getting around can be a bit of a climb so we try to make the shop a nice place to rest and browse. The lighting is okay and we have stacks of cloth everywhere. My family has been doing this for years and we know most of the people who walk through the door. Sometimes we sit and have tea with customers while they decide on a color. It’s a slow process picking out the right fabric but we don't mind. We aren't trying to sell you the most expensive thing in the store. We just want you to find something that lasts for a long time. The weather here can be damp so we take good care of the stock to keep everything fresh. It’s a quiet life here near the bank and we appreciate everyone who chooses to shop locally with us. We don't do big sales or fancy advertisements. We just rely on people telling their friends about the quality of the wool and cotton we keep in stock.
