Mulco(Sawm Sawm) Restaurant

Our restaurant is over in the Hmingthanchama Building in Chanmari. If you are familiar with Aizawl, you probably know the traffic point at Chandmary. We are very close to that spot, so there is always a lot of movement outside. Living and working in the 796007 area means dealing with the hills and the busy streets every day. The building is a familiar landmark for people living nearby. We opened this place to give people somewhere to go when they are out in the city. It isn’t anything too complicated, just a kitchen and some tables in a good part of town. We get a lot of people coming in who are just passing through the traffic point or working in the nearby shops. The atmosphere is usually quite casual and we don't put on any airs about what we do. Some days are busier than others, especially when the weather is nice and everyone is out and about in Aizawl. We have our routine of opening up and getting everything ready for the day. Most of the time, we are just busy keeping up with the orders and making sure the place stays tidy. It’s a local business run by people who live right here. We like being part of the Chanmari neighborhood and seeing the same faces coming in week after week. It’s just a simple restaurant in a busy building.
