Jo Jo

Our place, Jo Jo, is located in the Zothantluanga Building on Zarkawt Main Street. It is right in the middle of Chandmary in Aizawl. If you know the area, we are nearly opposite the Lalbuaia Shopping Complex. It is always busy on this street. There are so many cars and people walking up and down the hills. The building we are in is quite sturdy. We have been here for a bit and we know most of the people who work in the shopping complex across from us. Aizawl is a beautiful place but the traffic on the main street can be a lot sometimes. We just stay inside and do our work. The space isn't huge but we make it work. We have a few windows that look out onto the street so we can see the weather changing over the hills. Sometimes it gets very foggy and you can't even see the complex across the road. We get a lot of young people coming in because of the shops nearby. It is a good spot for people-watching. We don't do much advertising because everyone knows where Zarkawt Main Street is. We just keep the door open and wait for whoever comes in. It feels like a small community here even though it is a main road. We are just doing our bit every day in this building.
