Puii Restaurant

You can find us over at Treasury Square in Aizawl. We are very close to the City Bus Stand, which means there is almost always a crowd nearby. It is a busy part of the city and there is a lot of noise from the buses and the people rushing to catch their rides. We started this restaurant because we wanted a place in the middle of all that action. Most of the people who come in are either waiting for a bus or working in one of the offices nearby. We have a small team here and we mostly just focus on getting the food out on time so people do not miss their appointments. The square is a landmark in town, and we like being right in the thick of it. Mornings are usually the most chaotic because everyone is trying to get breakfast or tea before they start their day. We do not do anything too complicated, just regular meals that people enjoy. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when it rains and everyone wants to stay dry, but we make it work. We have been part of this neighborhood for a while and we know many of the bus drivers and shopkeepers around here by name. It is a simple operation and we just take things one day at a time, making sure the tea is hot and the kitchen is ready for the lunch rush.
