Uttam Watch House

You can find us at 1-A in Agrasen Nagar, over in the Udaipole area. It’s a bit away from the main chaotic markets, which we appreciate. Uttam Watch House is where we spend most of our waking hours. We have a decent selection of watches, but mostly we are known for just being a reliable place to get things looked at. The building we are in is sturdy and keeps the dust out for the most part, which is good for the watches. We have some old wooden chairs for customers to sit on, and they have been there as long as the shop has. My nephew helps me out on the weekends when it gets a bit busier. We don't really have a boss or a corporate office; we just run things ourselves. Sometimes we close a little early if there's a family event or a festival. That's the nice thing about having your own place in Udaipole. We know the other shop owners on the block and we look out for each other. It’s a quiet life, mostly. We check the time against the radio to make sure our clocks are right. It’s funny how many people come in with watches that are just a few minutes off. We fix it for them and they go on their way. The shop might not look like much but it works for us and the people who live around here.
