We are located at 183, right near the Sinha Temple by Delhi Gate. Ricoh Watch Services has been a part of this street for quite a while now. Being so close to the temple, we see a lot of people passing by on their way to pray. Sometimes they drop off a watch on their way in and pick it up when they’re heading home. The shop is small and smells a bit like oil and old paper. I’ve got stacks of old watch magazines and catalogs from years ago that I just can’t bring myself to throw away. The workbench is right by the window so I can get the best natural light for the tricky jobs. Delhi Gate is a busy spot, so there is always something to look at through the glass when I take a moment to breathe. I mostly handle repairs, like fixing broken crystals or getting an old movement to start ticking again after years of sitting in a drawer. It’s satisfying to see a watch start moving after you’ve spent an hour poking at it with a tiny screwdriver. I don't use any high-tech machines, just the basic tools and a bit of focus. The walls are a bit faded and the paint is peeling in the corners, but it doesn't bother me much. It’s a comfortable place to spend the day, and we plan to stay here as long as the temple stays across the way.
