Pratap Watch Service is located on Tekri Road, right by Mali Colony. It's a decent spot, not too far from the main road but quiet enough that I can hear myself think. I’ve been in this trade for a long time. I mostly handle local people from the colony who have watches that need a bit of attention. It’s a small shop, and I keep it pretty basic. I have my workbench, a few chairs for people to wait, and a shelf for the finished jobs. I don't see the point in having a fancy setup. If the watch gets fixed, that's what matters. Tekri Road has changed a lot since I started, with more buildings popping up, but the work remains the same. A gear is a gear. I get a lot of older gentlemen coming in with watches they’ve owned for thirty years. I like those the best. They have a bit of weight to them. Sometimes I have to hunt for parts from other old watches because they don't make them anymore. It’s like a puzzle. The shop is usually open six days a week, though sometimes I close early if I have errands to run in town. There’s no big sign or flashing lights here. Just the name on the glass. Mali Colony is a nice place to be, and I know most of my neighbors by name now. It’s a good community.
