Power Technologies

We are based at 103 Office Building, 230 E Masjid Moth. It’s right across the road from 16 Uday Park. It’s a decent area, though finding a parking spot can be a bit of a challenge some days. We work on power technologies, mostly things like stabilizers and battery backups. Our office is more like a workshop than a typical office. We have wires and testing tools spread out over almost every flat surface. There are only a few of us here, and we’ve all been in the industry for a long time. We don’t really do the whole corporate suit-and-tie thing. Most of the time, we’re in our shirtsleeves trying to figure out why a particular unit isn’t performing right. It’s a lot of troubleshooting and technical thinking. The building is okay, but the stairs are a bit steep if you’re carrying heavy equipment. We have a small area where we keep a kettle for making tea, and that’s where we do most of our talking. We don't spend any money on fancy ads. Most people find us through word of mouth, which is fine by us. It keeps the work steady without making things too complicated. We just focus on getting the repairs done and making sure everything is safe and working before it goes back to the customer. It’s simple, steady work and we enjoy the challenge of it. The area around Masjid Moth has its quirks, like the monkeys on the rooftops, but it’s home.
