Barkat Home Guest House

We run the Barkat Home Guest House at Plot No 7 in Basti Hazrat Nizamuddin. It’s a very old part of Delhi, and it’s always crowded here. We are quite close to the Markaz, so there are always travelers and people coming for prayers nearby. The streets are narrow and it can be a bit confusing if you’re not from around here. Our guest house is just a simple building with rooms for people to stay. We don't have elevators or fancy room service like the big hotels. It’s more like staying in a regular house. We try to keep the rooms tidy and the water running. The pin code is 110013. Living and working in Nizamuddin means you get used to the noise and the smell of food from the street stalls. We’ve been here for a while now. Most of our guests come because they want to be near the shrine or the Markaz. We don't do any advertising. People just find us or hear about us from others. It's a family-run kind of thing. We take care of the keys and make sure the front door is locked at night. It’s not a luxury place, just a roof over your head for a few nights. Sometimes the electricity goes out, but that's just how it is in this part of the city. We just do our best to make it work for everyone.
