Da Pizza Corner

We are tucked away in the DDA Market over in Phase 1 of Madangir. It is shop number 7. This part of Delhi is always moving, and our market is no different. It gets quite loud with people talking and scooters zooming by at all hours. We have a small oven in the back where we spend most of our time. It gets really hot back there, especially during the Delhi summers when the air is thick. We aren't a big chain, just a local spot where we make everything ourselves. Most of the kids from the nearby streets come here in the evenings after they finish playing. We know most of them by name now. It’s not a fancy place with waiters in suits; it’s just us in our aprons doing the work. We have a few chairs outside for when it gets too crowded inside the shop. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait a bit for it to come back, but that’s just life in Madangir. We buy our vegetables from the local vendors nearby every morning. It feels good to be part of the community here. We don't spend money on big signs or bright posters. People know where we are. We just focus on keeping the oven hot and the dough ready for the next order. It is a long day, starting early and closing late, but we like the work we do. We try to be fast but sometimes it takes a minute.
