Larrys China Restaurant

Larrys China Restaurant is located inside The Ambassador Hotel at Sujan Singh Park. We are on Cornwallis Road, which is a fairly quiet and nice part of the city. Being part of the hotel means we get a lot of different people. Some are staying in the rooms upstairs and others just come in from the neighborhood because they have been eating here for years. It is a bit of an old-fashioned place. We haven't changed the look of the dining room in quite some time, so it has a very lived-in feel. The tablecloths are clean but you can tell the room has some history. We serve Chinese food the way we've always done it. We aren't trying to follow any new trends or do anything fancy with fusion. The kitchen staff stays pretty quiet and just focuses on the orders. It is a bit more relaxed than a street-side shop, which people seem to like. You can actually hear yourself talk here. We don't do any big advertising campaigns. Most of our customers come because someone told them about us or they remember coming here as kids. It is just a steady, reliable place to eat. If you come through the hotel lobby, you will find us easily. We are just here doing our thing every day, serving whoever walks in the door at Sujan Singh Park. It's simple.
