Aakaar Creations

We operate Aakaar Creations out of D-4 in Gulmohar Park. It’s a quiet residential area, which makes for a nice place to work. We aren't a big industrial unit. Our setup is more like a home office or a small studio. We spend our days working on different design pieces and creative projects. Sometimes the living room gets taken over by whatever we are building or drawing at the time. It’s a bit informal, but it works for us. We don't have a team of receptionists or anything like that. If you call, one of us will just pick up the phone. We’ve lived and worked in Gulmohar Park for a long time, so we know the neighbors well. Most of our work comes from people who have seen what we’ve done for others. We don't go out and do big sales pitches. We just focus on making things that look right. Sometimes we run out of space for all the materials, and things get piled up in the corners. It’s a very hands-on kind of business. We might be sketching one day and out looking for materials the next. There isn't a fixed schedule, really. We just work until the job is done. The neighborhood is full of trees, which is a nice view when we need a break. We’re just a small group of people trying to make interesting things from our base here. It's a simple life, focused on the work we enjoy.
