St. Joans Public School

St. Joans is right there in G M Plaza on Avk Collage Road. It’s a busy part of Davangere, especially being in the P J Extension area. We have been running things from the No. 13 spot for quite some time. Being on a road with a college nearby means there is always a lot of movement and noise outside, but once you get inside the school area, it’s mostly just the sound of kids in class. We don’t have a massive campus with fields, so we make do with the space we have in the building. It’s a practical setup for a city school. The teachers here just get on with their work, following the syllabus and making sure the students are keeping up. We see a lot of different families from around Davangere coming through our doors. It’s not a fancy place with expensive gadgets, just regular classrooms with fans and desks. We spend our days managing the classes and talking to parents about how their children are doing. Sometimes the traffic on the road makes it a bit hard for the school vans to pull in, but we’ve figured out a rhythm over the years. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words or polished brochures. We just provide a place for education right in the middle of town. It’s an honest, everyday kind of school where the focus is on the books and the kids sitting at their desks.
