Government Composite High School

We are over in Hosajoga, which is in the Honnali area. This is a government composite high school, so we have a lot of different things going on at once with the different grades. Being in a place like Hosajoga means we are a central point for a lot of the local families and their children. The building has been here for years and it shows its age in some places, but it serves its purpose for us. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment or new furniture to show off. We just have the basics that we need to teach the students who come here every single day. It is a lot of work managing a high school, especially with the limited resources we sometimes have to work with. We spend a lot of our time filling out forms for the government and making sure the students are following the proper curriculum. It is not a glamorous job, but it is important for the community here in Honnali. We see the kids grow up from year to year, which is probably the most interesting part of the work for us. The days are long and sometimes the classrooms get quite hot in the summer, but we just keep going. We don't have a PR department or anyone to write fancy descriptions for us. This is just a school where we try to do our best with what we have got available to us right now.
