National Residential School

We are here in Thirthahalli, right in the Konandur area of Shimoga. National Residential School has been part of this neighborhood for a while now. Most days start pretty early because it is a residential setup. The students live on the grounds, so you see them around all the time, not just during class hours. It is located at Thirthahalli, Konandur, Shimoga - 577422. The air around here is quite fresh compared to the bigger cities. We spend our time managing the dorms and making sure the classrooms are ready for the daily lessons. It is a lot of work looking after kids who are away from home. Sometimes it gets noisy when they are out in the yard, but that is just how it goes with a school. We have the usual subjects and the kids follow a pretty strict routine with their meals and study times. The building itself is simple and fits in with the rest of the Thirthahalli surroundings. People around Konandur know where we are. We don’t have fancy signs or anything like that. It is just a place where students come to stay and get through their basic education. Most of the staff live nearby or right on the campus too. We try to keep things organized but sometimes things get a bit chaotic with so many youngsters in one spot. It is just a regular school life for us in this part of Shimoga.
