Jnana Vikas School

We are located on 3rd Cross in Nehru Nagar, which is over in Holalkere, Chitradurga. It is a nice enough neighborhood, mostly houses and some small shops nearby. The school sits right on the corner, and it is easy for people living in Nehru Nagar to reach. We have a building that has been added to over the years as we needed more space. It is not the most modern-looking place, but it serves us well. There are classrooms spread across the floors, and we have a small office near the entrance. Most of the teachers are local people who have been with us for quite a while. We don't go in for fancy advertisements or anything like that. People know us through word of mouth. The kids have a small area to play in, though it is not a full-sized playground. We try to keep the rooms organized, but with so many students, it is a constant job to keep things in place. You will often see parents stopping by to drop off lunch or talk to the teachers at the gate. It is a very community-focused kind of school. We don't have a lot of extra funding for big projects, so we just focus on the daily teaching and keeping the building in good enough shape. It is a busy, normal school life for everyone involved here in Holalkere.
