Jain Vidyalaya

Our school is situated at No.65A-E on Convent Road, which is part of the Pj Extension in Davangere. It’s a well-known part of town, and we are right there among the other houses and shops. Jain Vidyalaya has been around for quite some time, and the building shows its age in a comfortable way. The hallways are long and have a lot of echoes when the students are moving between classes. Davangere is famous for its food, and you can often smell someone cooking nearby during the lunch hour. We have a decent-sized gate where the kids gather in the morning before the doors open. The Pj Extension area is usually busy with people on bicycles and scooters. Our classrooms have wooden benches that have been used by many generations of students. We don't have a lot of modern glass architecture; it is mostly brick and mortar that stays cool even in the summer. The teachers have their own little corner where they drink coffee and talk about the lessons. It is a very straightforward place with no hidden agendas. We just show up, do the work, and go home when the final bell rings. It’s a part of the local community and we like it that way. The 577002 area feels like home to all of us who work here.
