Holy Prophet English Medium School

We've been here on N R Pura Road for a while now. It's a quiet part of Balehonnur. Holy Prophet English Medium School is just a local place for kids to learn. Chikmagalur is a nice area, and being out here means there's a bit of space around us. We have classrooms and teachers who show up every day. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular school where we try to get through the lessons. Some days are busy with parents coming in and out. The weather here in Chikmagalur can be quite rainy, so the building gets a bit worn, but we keep it going. Students come from nearby villages mostly. We follow the usual English medium books. There's a playground out back, nothing too big, but enough for a game of football. People around here know where we are. It’s just a standard school life. We don't have a lot of big events, mostly just the daily classes and exams. The walk up the road is how most kids get here. We've got desks that have seen better days, but they work fine. Most of the staff live nearby in Balehonnur too. We aren't trying to change the world, just teaching the kids their ABCs and math. It's a steady job for us and a place for the children to be during the day. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just keep the windows open for light.
