St. James Convent School

St. James Convent School is tucked away in the Sharada Rice Mill Compound. We are specifically located at 13Th Cross in Bharath Colony, which is part of Davangere City. Our pin code is 577002. Being in an old mill compound gives the place a bit of a different feel than a standard school building on a main road. It’s a bit quieter and away from the main noise of the traffic. We have been here for years, and the community knows the spot well. It’s a simple school. We don't have a lot of fancy technology or glass walls. We have sturdy desks, good teachers, and plenty of books. The students come in through the compound gates every morning. We know most of the families by their first names because that’s just how it is in Bharath Colony. We aren't trying to sell anyone on a dream; we are just providing a place for children to learn their ABCs and math. The office is small and usually has a stack of notebooks waiting to be graded. We spend our time making sure the school day goes according to plan. Sometimes the rain makes things a bit muddy around the compound, but we deal with it. It’s just a normal, everyday school where we do our best for the kids in this part of Davangere. There isn't any corporate polish here, just real people working. We've been around a long time.
