Viceroy Restaurant

Viceroy Restaurant is located at the Toshali Royal View Resort on the Kufri Chail Road. We are in Shimla, with the pin code 171001. Our spot is specifically in Shilon Bagh, near the Mundaghat post office. It is a quiet part of the hills where the road winds between Kufri and Chail. We have been operating here for a while. Being part of the resort means we see a lot of different people coming through. The mountain air is clear up here, though it gets quite chilly once the sun goes down. We just focus on serving the food and keeping the place running. It is a simple setup without a lot of extra fuss. Most of us who work here know these roads well. The resort building is a major landmark in Shilon Bagh, so people don't usually have trouble finding us. We don't use fancy words or big marketing slogans. We just open up every morning and get things ready for whoever walks in. Sometimes the fog rolls in off the hills and hides the road, but the kitchen stays warm. It’s a practical place for a meal when you are traveling through this part of Himachal. We've seen many winters come and go from this address. It’s just how it is for a local business in the Shimla hills. We just keep the tables set and wait for the next traveler to arrive from the Kufri side.
