Diamond Bakery Sweets & Restaurants

We have a few spots around Shimla, including BCS and Sanjauli. If you are driving towards Shoghi or coming from New Shimla, you have probably passed one of our signs. We make sweets and serve food to locals who are just going about their day. In a place like Shimla, the weather changes fast, so people often duck in to get out of the rain or the cold. We keep the counters full of fresh sweets and snacks. It is not a high-end restaurant with white tablecloths. It is more of a place where you grab a tea and a samosa while talking to your neighbor. Our kitchen is always busy, especially in the mornings when we are getting things ready for the lunch crowd. The 171219 area keeps us busy with people traveling through. We have been doing this for years, and we know what the local people like to eat. We don't use fancy words to describe our food. It is just the same recipes we have been using since we started. Sometimes we run out of things because it was a busy afternoon, but we just start again the next morning. The hills can make deliveries a bit slow, but we manage. It is just a local business trying to feed the neighborhood and keep things moving in this part of Shimla. We enjoy seeing the regular faces every day.
