Anna purna dhaba

If you are up in the mountains near Shimla, you will find us at the Snow shelter building in Kufri. We are very close to the Kufri chowk, which is where most travelers stop. The air is cold up here, especially in the winter months, so our dhaba is a place where people can come in to get away from the wind. We are at 171012. The building is a simple structure that fits in with the rest of the Kufri landscape. We don't have any fancy signs or polished floors. It’s a mountain dhaba, so things are a bit rugged. We get a lot of tourists who are visiting the viewpoints nearby, but we also see the local drivers who work these roads every day. It’s a small team of us working here. We spend a lot of time keeping the place warm and making sure we have enough supplies brought up from the main town. The views around us are great, though we are usually too busy in the kitchen to look out the window much. We don't do any big promotions. People just see the dhaba when they arrive at the chowk and wander in. It’s a quiet life when the tourists aren't around, but we like the pace of it. We are just a regular stop on the road to the mountains, providing a place to sit for anyone who happens to be passing through our corner of Shimla.
