Assad SHER e punjab

We are located up in Shimla, right near the Ridge, which is pretty much where everyone goes when they come to town. Assad SHER e punjab is a small spot where we serve the kind of food that warms you up when the mountain air gets chilly. It’s a simple setup because space is tight up here in the hills. We don't have a big fancy dining room with views, but we are right in the middle of where all the walking happens. Being near the Ridge means we see a lot of tourists, but we also have locals who stop in for a quick meal. The kitchen is small, so sometimes you have to wait a little bit when it’s crowded, but we work as fast as we can. It’s a bit of a climb to get around Shimla, so once people sit down, they usually stay a while to rest their legs. We aren't trying to be the most famous place in Himachal. We just want to serve decent food and keep the place running. The walls have some old pictures on them, and the furniture is just basic wood. It feels like a real part of the town. We’ve been here at 171001 for a long time, and we don’t plan on changing much. It’s just how we do things here near the Ridge. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic with all the people, but we just keep the stove going and the tea hot for whoever walks in.
