Baljees & Fascination Restaurant

We are located at 26 The Mall, right in the heart of Shimla. This building has been here for a long time. If you have ever walked down The Mall, you probably passed by us at some point. It’s a 171001 pin code area, so it’s right in the center of everything. Being in Shimla means we deal with a lot of tourists, but we also have locals who have been coming here for years. The name on the door is Baljees & Fascination Restaurant. It’s a bit of a long name, I know. The weather up here gets really cold in the winter, and those are the days when the place feels the most alive. We spend a lot of time just keeping things tidy and making sure the staff knows what to do. It’s an old-fashioned sort of place. We don't go for the modern, sleek look because that wouldn't fit Shimla. People come in to get away from the wind outside. We are just a regular restaurant doing regular things. Sometimes the stairs or the floors creak because the building is old. We don't mind. It gives the place a bit of character. We are open most days and stay quite busy during the peak season. It's a lot of management and standing on your feet all day. That is just the way it goes here at number 26. We're just here doing our job every single day.
