The Lutyens Room

The Lutyens Room is over at Springfields in Chotta Shimla. If you know where the Tibetan School is, we’re basically right opposite that. It’s a bit of a walk from the main town area, but Chotta Shimla has its own pace. The address is 171002. We spend a lot of time just keeping the place running. Being near the school means there's always some noise and activity during the day. It feels like a real neighborhood here. Springfields itself is an older property, and we're just one part of it. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It's just us working here. Some days the weather in Shimla is beautiful and other days it's just grey and damp. We've got the usual things you'd expect in a room like this. We try to keep the dust off the furniture. It’s a simple job, really. Most of our neighbors are locals or people who've lived here for years. You get used to the walk up and down the hills. We open the doors, check the lights, and wait for visitors. It’s not a flashy place at all. Just a quiet corner in Chotta Shimla across from the school. We've been at this for a bit now. We don't plan on moving. It’s where we belong. If you’re ever in the 171002 area, you’ll probably pass by us without even realizing it. We just do the daily chores and wait for the sun to go down.
