New Plaza Restaurants

We are located at 60/61 Mall Road in Shimla. You can find us in the Middle Bazar area, which is right opposite the Gaiety Theatre. Being on the Mall Road means we are in the heart of everything. There are always tourists walking by and locals heading to the bazaar. The theatre across from us is a big landmark, so it’s easy for people to find where we are. We have been part of this street for a long time. The restaurant gets quite busy, especially when the weather is nice and people are out walking. It’s a bit of a climb to get up here, but that’s just Shimla for you. Inside, we keep things simple and functional. We have windows that look out toward the street, which is nice for people-watching. The kitchen staff is usually in a rush during the peak tourist season, but we manage to keep things under control. It’s not a fancy establishment; it’s just a place to get a meal while you’re exploring the hills. We see all kinds of people, from students to elderly couples. We just keep the tables wiped down and the food coming out. Mall Road has a specific vibe, and we just fit into it as a regular dining spot. It’s a lot of work but it’s what we do. We don't try to be too formal, just a place for a break.
