MANN SHER -E-PUNJAB

We are tucked away in the Regal building over here in Lakkar Bazar. If you know Shimla, you know how busy it gets near the Mall Road, but our spot is just a bit off that main track. MANN SHER -E-PUNJAB has been here for a while now. Some days it’s freezing outside and the steam from the kitchen is the only thing keeping us warm. We get a lot of people walking by from the bazaar. It's not a fancy place, just some tables and chairs and the smell of spices. The guys in the kitchen are usually shouting orders back and forth. We see a lot of tourists coming up from the plains looking for something solid to eat before they head back to their hotels. Lakkar Bazar has its own rhythm, you know? The woodworkers are always busy nearby. We just try to keep the food coming out hot. Sometimes the power goes out, or the water line acts up because it’s an old building, but we manage. People know where to find us. It’s a simple setup. We don’t have those big glowing signs or anything. Just the name on the front and a door that stays open most of the day. It gets loud when the lunch crowd hits, but that’s just how it is around here. It's just a local place where we do our work and try to keep things moving.
