The Cornerstone

The Cornerstone is located on Hatia Road in Ranchi, not far from NiFFT Hatia. Being near the institute means we see a lot of students and teachers every day. The place is pretty simple. We have a front area where we deal with customers and a back room where most of the actual work happens. It’s not a very big building, but it's enough for what we need. We started this because we lived in Hatia and saw a need for a place like this. It’s been a bit of a learning process for us. In the beginning, we didn't really know how to manage the busy hours, but we've figured it out now for the most part. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't found the time yet. We just focus on getting things done for the people who come in. It’s an honest way to spend the day. Ranchi is a busy city, and Hatia Road can get quite dusty and loud, but inside it's usually okay. We don't have any big corporate backing or anything. It's just a local shop run by a few of us. We know our regulars and what they usually need. If you're walking toward NiFFT, you'll pass right by us. We’re just here doing our thing every day, trying to keep the business going and the customers satisfied without making any big fuss about it.
