Khaojee

Khaojee is over here at Shivdayal Chok, right by Argora Chowk in Ranchi. The 834002 area is where we spend all our time. It’s a busy intersection, so there is always a lot of dust and noise, but we’re used to it by now. We open up early and stay until the evening rush is over. The shop isn’t very big, but it’s ours and we take care of it. We spend a lot of time just prepping and making sure the kitchen is ready. People from around Argora Chowk stop by often. Sometimes we run out of things if it’s a really busy day, but that’s just how it goes sometimes. We don’t use any fancy equipment, just the stuff we need to get the job done. It’s mostly just us working hard to keep the place running. The chairs and tables are simple, nothing too special. We just want to make sure the floor is swept and the food is out on time. Being at Shivdayal Chok means we see everyone passing through. It feels like a real part of the neighborhood. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just a few of us here every day, making sure the lights are on and the food is ready for whoever walks through the door. It's a plain, honest business. There are no big plans for expansion, we just focus on today and making sure the shop stays open for our regular customers.
