Float

Float is located on Mahatma Gandhi Marg which everyone just calls Main Road here in Ranchi. Our building is right in the thick of things in the 834001 area. It is a busy part of town with people always moving about and shopping. Float is where we spend most of our waking hours. It is not a huge place but we made it comfortable enough. We have some decent seating and the lights are usually kept a bit low to keep it relaxed for everyone. The street outside is always noisy with horns and people but once you step inside it is a bit different. We are not part of any big chain. It is just a local spot we opened up ourselves. We have a mix of young people and older folks coming in throughout the week. The menu has stuff we like to eat and drink. Sometimes the service is quick and other times when it is full you might have to wait a bit longer for your order. We do not use any fancy language to describe what we do here. We just run a bar and kitchen on the main road. The staff is mostly local guys from around Ranchi. We have had the same cook for a couple of years now and he knows how people here like their food. On rainy days the place gets quite cozy. We just keep doing our thing and hope people enjoy stopping by.
