Fork N Cork

We are down in the basement of Tirath Mansion. It’s on the Main Road in Lalpur, right near the overbridge. Ranchi can be a really crowded place, especially around this part of town. Our spot is a bit tucked away, which is nice when the traffic outside gets too much. We’ve been here at Fork N Cork for some time now. It’s not a huge space, but we make it work. Being near the overbridge means we get all sorts of people walking by. Some just stumble in because they’re looking for a place to sit. We don’t have a lot of fancy signs or big lights. Just the basics. It’s a bit of a climb down the stairs to find us. Inside, it’s just a normal setup with a few tables and some stuff on the walls. We handle the cooking and the cleaning ourselves. Sometimes the air gets a bit stuffy because it’s a basement, but we have the fans going. It’s a practical place for a meal. We’ve gotten to know the other shop owners in Tirath Mansion. Everyone kind of looks out for each other on this road. If you’re in Lalpur and need to get away from the sun for a bit, this is where we are. We don’t try to be anything we’re not. It’s just a basement restaurant in Ranchi 834001. We do our work and go home. That is how we do it.
