Cafe Mughal

You’ll find Cafe Mughal over in Madhuban Market, which is right on the Main Road in Ranchi. We are pretty close to Capital Hill, so it’s a landmark most people know. We’ve been operating out of this spot for quite some time now. It’s a busy area, lots of shops and people moving around all day. The cafe itself is pretty straightforward. We have some tables, a kitchen that stays busy, and that’s about it. We don't go in for fancy decorations or anything like that. We think people mostly come here because they know what to expect. It’s honest food and a place to sit. Sometimes it gets a bit loud because of the traffic on Main Road, but that’s Ranchi for you. We’ve seen the market change a lot over the years, but we’ve kept our corner mostly the same. My family helps out with the daily work, so it really is a local operation. We don’t have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on the fact that people know where we are. It’s not the most modern place you’ll ever see, but we keep it clean and we’re friendly enough. If you’re doing your shopping in Madhuban Market and need a rest, we’re right here. We do our best to make sure everyone leaves satisfied. So yeah, that is basically us.
