Chopsticks

Chopsticks has been sitting here in the Amauna Complex on Plaza Road for a while. Ranchi is a busy place, and this area especially stays pretty active throughout the day. We are just one of those shops you see when you’re walking down the street looking for something to eat. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just show up, prep the vegetables, and wait for the lunch crowd to start coming in. It’s a simple setup with basic tables and chairs. We get all sorts of people, from office workers on their break to students just hanging out. Sometimes we run out of things if it’s been a particularly busy afternoon, but we do what we can with what we have. The kitchen can get a bit hot in the summers, but that’s just part of the job. We aren't trying to be the most famous place in town or anything. We just like having a steady stream of regulars who know what to expect when they walk through the door. It’s a bit cramped when it gets full, but people don’t seem to mind too much. We focus on the cooking and keeping the floor swept. If you find yourself near Plaza Road and need a bite, we are tucked inside the complex. Nothing more to it than that, really. Just a regular restaurant doing its thing every day.
